What does he mean when he calls mami?

I met this guy at a club about 3 weeks ago and went home with him and u know what happened after that, anyway he calls me mami! And he called me mami the first time I met him... Were F buddies now and when I leave he'll be like ight see you later mami. Ahaha what does that mean?!
