Skating while on vacation?

my brother has a baseball tournament in maryland this weekend. we'll be there from friday- monday. the thing is i usually skate friday, saturday, and monday. so i found a rink about 15 minutes away from my hotel (even closer than my home rink is to my house) and thought maybe it would be a good experience to see a new rink meet some new skaters and all that stuff and get some practice in bc i dont think i could live off the ice that long! so is it a good idea or you think its my time to relax?
