How I compliment a girl that's older than me?

Ight so I'm a freshman now soon to be Sophmore; it's already summer break, and I wanna compliment this older girl via Facebook maybe over text if it goes far, she's prolly gonna be a senior next year so please help. Ps I'm not trynna be anything with her just a friend. :)
